Summary
This article explains how a Health Care Organization (HCO) admin can add a new Health Care Professional (HCP) to the department within an Organization in the Health Portal.
Instructions
Adding an existing HCP:
- Login to the Health Portal using your HCO admin credentials (Email and password).
- From the left navigation menu, click Departments>All Departments
- On the 'Departments' page, click +add Health care professional under the desired department where you will add the HCP.
- On the 'Add new Health care professional' page, click the dropdown from the Health Care Professional* field to select the name of the existing HCP you would like to be added to the department then click ADD.
- The next page will show that the HCP has been successfully added. (See the image below as a sample.)
Adding or inviting a new HCP:
- Login to the Health Portal using your HCO admin credentials (Email and password).
- You can add or invite a new HCP using 2 options:
a) From the left navigation menu, click Departments>All Departments then click +new Health care professional
b) From the left navigation menu, click + Health care Professional -
On the 'Invite a new 'Health care professional' page, fill out all the following required information (*) and/or choose from the selection for each (whichever is applicable) then click Invite.:
Title* - Dr., Prof., Mr., Mrs
First Name* - enter the First name of the HCP
Last Name* - enter the Last name of the HCP
Date of birth* - enter the birthdate of the HCP by clicking the calendar icon and start selecting the year first, followed by the month and then lastly click the date.
Health care professional type* - Allergist, General Practitioner, Immunologist, Medical Assistant, Nurse, Paediatrician, Pulmonologist, Respiratory Physician and Other. Select "Other", if the user belongs to a different HCP type.
Email* - enter the email address of the HCP
Phone number* - enter the contact number of the HCP
Department* - select the department from the dropdown. (Note: If the department does not exist from the dropdown, an HCO admin needs to create the department first, by following the instructions on How do I create a department?)
Units* - Imperial or Metric system -
The HCP will receive a 'Verify your account' email from Respiri to validate their account. The HCP needs to click Validate account and follow the prompts to complete setting up their HCP account. (Refer to How do I set up my HCP account for first-time use? for the complete instructions.)

wheezo® is not intended for diagnostic use. wheezo® is intended to detect and record abnormal breath sounds (continuous adventitious breath sounds/CABS) at the windpipe (trachea), reported as WheezeRate in adults and children (2 years and older).
When used to monitor wheeze, the user should be under the care of a licensed healthcare professional. A licensed healthcare professional’s advice is required to understand the meaning and importance of wheeze rate.
If the user is feeling breathless, or experiencing other symptoms, it is important to prioritise treatment over taking a wheeze rate. Do not delay treatment. Regardless of the wheeze rate, if the user has signs and symptoms such as, but not limited to, chest tightness, shortness of breath, coughing or wheezing, they should always follow their healthcare professional’s advice.
