How do I invite an HCP?

This article explains how a Health Care Organization (HCO) admin invites Health Care Professional (HCP). 

Pre-Requisite

Before inviting HCPs, an HCO admin needs to create the department(s) and/or program(s) first.

Instructions

Once the department and the program have been created by the HCO admin, the HCP can be invited.  Start inviting an HCP per the steps below:

1. Login to the Health Portal with your HCO admin credentials (Email and password).
2. Once logged in, click +Invite new HCP in the dashboard view as shown below.
   
3. On the 'Invite new HCP' page, fill out all the following required information (*) and/or choose from the selection for each (whichever is applicable):
   
   Title* - Dr., Prof., Mr., Mrs
   First Name* - enter the First name of the HCP
   Last Name* - enter the Last name of the HCP
   Date of birth* - enter the birthdate of the HCP by clicking the calendar icon and start selecting the year first, followed by the month and then lastly click the date.
   HCP Type* - Allergist, General Practitioner, Immunologist, Medical Assistant, Nurse, Paediatrician, Pulmonologist, Respiratory Physician and Other. Select "Other", if the user belongs to a different HCP type.
   Email* - enter the email address of the HCP
   Phone number* - enter the contact number of the HCP
   Department* - select the department from the dropdown. (Note: If the department does not exist from the dropdown, an HCO admin needs to create the department first, by following the instructions on How do I create a department?)
   Units* - Imperial or Metric system

   Then click Invite.
4. The HCP will receive a 'Verify your account' email from Respiri to validate their account. The HCP needs to click Validate account and follow the prompts to complete setting up their HCP account. (Refer to How do I set up my HCP account for first-time use? for the complete instructions.)

If the user is feeling breathless, or experiencing other symptoms, it is important to prioritise treatment over taking a wheeze rate. Do not delay treatment. Regardless of the wheeze rate, if the user has signs and symptoms such as, but not limited to, chest tightness, shortness of breath, coughing or wheezing, they should always follow their healthcare professional’s advice.
